Edwardian Floral Good Luck Brooch in Silver Gold Hallmark 1901 William Light A typical silver Good Luck brooch from the turn of the century. Traditionally given as a gift. A chunky silver bar with gold plated flora & fauna, all wrapped around a horseshoe. This is a nice example with thick silver & continues to have a bright gold plate. This antique brooch has a full set of English hallmarks: Anchor for Birmingham Assay Office, The British Lion Passant, Date Letter B for 1901. This is the first year of Edward VII Makers hallmark of WL – William Light 1895-1912 in Augusta Street, Birmingham ⭐ This brooch weighs 3.2 grams ⭐ This brooch is 46mm long & 16mm high This antique brooch is over 120 years old. It is good quality & still in good condition. There is some wear to the gold plating, but minimal. There is tarnishing that could be removed with care.
