The Biot Stone in brown is the go-to fly for getting down into deeper pockets quickly. In many rivers, the water varies, and often the strike zone of holding trout is small. Behind boulders and seams along the bank, this fly can be cast right above them and will reach the strike zone in seconds. A mixed dozen of these in the natural brown coloring will give the angler the ability to fish any type of water. These come in a few colors which are good to have, but the brown is favored by many anglers and guides as their top nymph pattern.
