Description Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Thunderbird ’64 Bass – Inverness Green with Bag What do you think of first when someone mentions a Thunderbird Bass? The distinctive shape that legendary automotive designer Ray Dietrich created? The sustain-enhancing nine-ply neck-through-body construction? The low-end punch from the two powerful bass humbucker pickups? Classic eye-catching, auto-inspired custom colors? In honor of the 60th anniversary of the groundbreaking Gibson Thunderbird, Epiphone is proud to introduce the Epiphone inspired by Gibson Thunderbird ’64. Inspired by the vintage Gibson T-Bird basses of that era, the new Thunderbird ’64 retains all of the classic elements that made the originals iconic, from the nine-ply mahogany and walnut neck-through-body construction right down to the instantly-recognizable hot-stamped Thunderbird logo on the three-ply pickguard. Once you take it out of the included premium gig bag and plug it in, you’ll immediately notice the Thunderbird ’64’s deep, rich tone, which is brought to life with a pair of powerful ProBucker™ 760 Bass humbucker pickups paired with CTS® potentiometers. Modern features like a new Graph Tech® nut and Clover-button tuners with a 19:1 gear ratio keep the tuning more solid than ever, but the focus here is all about vintage vibes. Epiphone’s Thunderbird ’64 delivers the specifications, look, playing experience, and tone of a priceless vintage Thunderbird. All at an accessible price. Distinctive and luxurious wedding band featuring a contrast of rich yellow gold and oxidized silver.

The ring is made of sterling silver, slightly textured with reticulation and oxidized.
Gold spots are solid 18k gold. It is a random mix of gold dust, micro granules and solder fused to the silver surface.
The edges and inside of the ring are solid 18k yellow gold.

Most of the ring’s weight is gold, silver is used only as a base for my Gold Chaos technique. This technique isn’t possible with any other metal.
Gold edges and inside made the ring not only more luxurious but also sturdier and more scratch resistant than silver only rings.
It has a nice weight to it (approx. 7-8g depending on size), but it is not too heavy. Rounded edges make the ring very comfortable.

The silver part is oxidized and polished. Patina is already polished on the high spots and stays in the deeper parts.

Due to the technique used, every ring is unique with a different texture.

Width: 8 mm

Gold edges are 1 mm wide.
Thickness of the ring is approx. 1.4 mm.

The ring will be shipped with safe express shipping.

Please see other rings in the Gold Chaos collection. I am open to custom orders and I can make rings with different amounts of gold and/or different width etc.
