Description Art Nouveau slag glass table lamp with eight panels This beautiful Art Nouveau slag glass table lamp with eight panels hails from c. 1920. Antique lamps with eight panels in the shade are very difficult to find in good condition, so this one is a real treasure! It’s not perfect; it’s showing its age. But I hope I look as good by the time I’m 105 years old! LOL! The base is made of cast iron and pot metal with a gold wash. The glass panels in the shade are beige with a caramel swirl. All of the shade’s filigree work, also referred to as overlay, is intact. The lamp has one pull-chain switch and can accommodate one incandescent bulb up to 60W maximum, or its equivalent. This would be perfect on a nightstand, in the living room, family room, dining room, entranceway, office, at the base of a staircase, etc. It measures 20″ tall, and the base is 8″ in diameter. The shade measures 17 1/2″ across the flats, and 18 3/4″ across the points. We rewired this lamp with cloth cord typical of the period, and we added a polarized button plug to retain as much authenticity as possible. Distinctive and luxurious wedding band featuring a contrast of rich yellow gold and oxidized silver.

The ring is made of sterling silver, slightly textured with reticulation and oxidized.
Gold spots are solid 18k gold. It is a random mix of gold dust, micro granules and solder fused to the silver surface.
The edges and inside of the ring are solid 18k yellow gold.

Most of the ring’s weight is gold, silver is used only as a base for my Gold Chaos technique. This technique isn’t possible with any other metal.
Gold edges and inside made the ring not only more luxurious but also sturdier and more scratch resistant than silver only rings.
It has a nice weight to it (approx. 7-8g depending on size), but it is not too heavy. Rounded edges make the ring very comfortable.

The silver part is oxidized and polished. Patina is already polished on the high spots and stays in the deeper parts.

Due to the technique used, every ring is unique with a different texture.

Gold edges are 1 mm wide.
Thickness of the ring is approx. 1.4 mm.
