Description Brass mission style gas/electric sconce signed Bradley & Hubbard This brass mission style gas/electric sconce signed Bradley & Hubbard hails from c. 1900. It has beautiful patina! A gas flame used to be in the center, inside the cylinder shade. We’ve converted it to electric. Each of the electric arms has a vintage mission style, camphored-to-clear glass shade. The glass cylinder has a flea bite (tiny chip) on the top edge, and one of its air holes along the bottom edge was never punched out. Neither impacts the operation of the sconce, but we always identify any flaws when we find them. We put a flicker bulb in the center to emulate the gas flame; any candelabra-size bulb would be fine in its place. This sconce offers great versatility. You can use the turn switch to turn on one of the outer lights, and you can use the other turn switch to operate the other outer light and the middle light. You can also operate the sconce by a wall switch, using the turn switches to increase or decrease the amount of light needed. Perfect for over the bathroom mirror, the kitchen sink, in a hallway, foyer, etc. Measures 13 5/8″ high by 12 5/8″ wide by 7″ deep. Carefully converted to all electric and rewired with ground wire added to bring it up to code.
