Description Paraglider Training Lessons Learn to fly a paraglider! Introduction & safety session $150.00 2-3 hours, equipment rental included. No flights. You will remain on the ground and start learning to handle a paraglider. Your instructor will demonstrate and fit the equipment you will use. Learn how to pre-flight check your equipment. Your instructor will check the wind conditions and decide on the best ground handling exercises for your session, choosing either option A or B (possibly both) (A) Inflate wing and begin to learn to control wing and keep it flying overhead. (B) Inflate and launch your wing by running across flat ground with your wing flying above you. Pack & store your paraglider. One or two mornings on training hill Paraglider Training Lessons Designed for those with only a few days to help you decide if you want to pursue a Paraglider certification. Includes our Introduction & Safety Session Begin to learn to ground handle a paraglider. If the winds cooperate and you’re ready, on the second morning, take off from a low hill, fly a short, straight distance, and then land. The cost will be applied to P1 or P2 training if taken within six months. One Morning $250.00 Two Mornings $450.00 P1 Paraglider Certification Course $1,000.00 5-6 days * USHPA Rating at completion. Will be credited towards P2 training At Completion of Paraglider Training Lessons for P1 we will give you our student discount towards purchase of your own gear. P2 Paraglider Certification Course $2500.00 15 days or more * USHPA Rating at completion The time needed to complete any training can vary depending on factors like weather, the student’s abilities, how often they can attend sessions, and other considerations.
