The cage has a sub-frame that fastens down and the cage attaches with hinge pins, closes, and locks with shrouded lock ports on each side. Once the cage is closed and locked, the installation anchors are trapped between the sub-frame and cage bottom preventing anyone from removing unless the cage is open. The Heavy Duty Lock shrouds accommodate Masterlock “Puck” locks. These locks have a hidden shackle to prevent cutting and are widely considered the best locks in the industry. The backside of the P3 Series is open to allow the cage to tilt forward. The structure typically serves as the backside.
