This is the perfect adhesive. Fast grab and the perfect consistency to work with. Lots of time to adjust the position of your tiles. The more ornate (3D) your tile, the more attention you must give to ensure you are applying the Henry gum adhesive to the spots on the tile which make contact with the ceiling. I used a cardboard template and abraded the ceiling with a drill to literally spot weld the tile in 16 places. The 16 holes in the ceiling don’t drill through the drywall board. I prefilled the holes with a glob of gum and then added sixteen globs if gum on the tile backside. My entryway ceiling is not square, so I trimmed the lips of the tile rim on two sides to allow me to place the edges in line and perfect. Working with your arms above your head is not trivial. It took two full days with two people to install 44 tiles with regular breaks.I used a plastic knife to glob spots of gum where I needed it. It is very important to work on warm days (proper temp and humidity), with at least 24-48 hours of thorough drying time. I sealed the leading edge entering into my entryway with silicone sealant just to keep water from blowing under the first row.If these tiles come loose after my installation recipe, it better be a category 5 hurricane that did it!
