The media could not be loaded.Put it on my 1997 4Runner SR5 4×4 that would lose power brakes intermittently. With 330k miles, it wasn’t worth deciding between the check valve or the booster diaphragm. And for $70, not worth the time to investigate.New one was a drop in, took about 30 min. perfect fit.1) remove the spring and cotter pin from the pedal linkage pin2) remove the pedal linkage pin3) unbolt the 4 nuts to the firewall. I used a deep well socket and u-joint/swivel extension. worked well.4) pull the vacuum line under the hood5) unbolt the master cylinder6) Install in reverse.NOTE: my factory nuts were 12mmbut the new ones were 13mm. was all I needed except a 10mm to drop the dash panel because i accidentally let the other end of the pedalspring unhook from the dash. So keep an eye on that. There’s a plastic protective boot on the pedal side you need to remove first. My OEM booster had a grommet that goes the between the booster housing and the firewall. New one didn’t have this so i installed the original. It was in good shape. did not have to remove the master cylinder, just removed the 2 nuts and pulled it forward to slide the booster out.
