This is a nice little machine to have for an emergency auto flat and when the seasonal temperature changes cause auto tire pressure to fluctuate. It is hard to find free air at service stations anymore, so this is a handy money saving item over time. Most places charge $1.50 or more for five minutes of inflate time on the rental air machines. The instructions said to use it with the vehicle turned off, with the key turned to the accessory “on” position; however, I could only get it to work with the vehicle running. That may have had something to do with the particular vehicle I used it on. It will also be handy for inflating basket balls, volley balls, swim floats, beach balls, etc. when playing sports and when you are on vacations. The machine comes with the connection adapters for inflating balls and floats. I have only had this a few weeks and have only used it one time so I do not know how it will perform over time. The instructions are very certain that you use it for 10 minutes and then let it cool for 25 minutes because the machine gets warm as you use it. The one time I have used it, I pumped up four auto tires that were each about 7 pounds low each and it took me about two 10 minute sessions to complete all four tires. You really have to unscrew the tire inflation connector fast to keep from losing about a pound of air when disconnecting the connector. You can compensate for this by inflating the tire to one pound over the recommended tire pressure. Overall, this is a good little machine for about $20. It is not a bad idea to have one in each auto for an emergency situation. In the right flat tire or leaking tire situation, it might save you having to change a flat tire or possibly save you a wrecker bill.
